Fiona Sumpton is an Implementation Consultant with over 20 years of relevant hands-on IT experience.

Having gained valuable experience working in several roles in IT operations, technical writing and programming; by the mid-1980s Fiona began her career in consulting on the Varnet suite of products.  Since that time she has earned a well deserved reputation for her ability to successfully implement systems from start of installation to go-live, consistently managing her projects to completion on schedule and within budget, while generating outstanding results for both end users and management.

Fiona's main areas of expertise lie within the Progress - OpenEdge world, implementing applications such as Varnet, MXP-Decade, & Syteline V5-6, as well as SQL and 

Syteline 7 . Fiona is comfortable working within the various flavours of Unix, Linux , and Windows using both Character-based and GUI-based applications interfaces.

As an Implementations Consultant Fiona has successfully provided services to Clients throughout the USA and Canada as well as a brief engagement in Japan.  She has 

extensive multi industry experience including manufacturing, services, pharmaceuticals, distribution, and finance.
